RubyToots began out of necessity and was inspired by my daughter Ruby.  I made my first sling before Ruby was born and little did I know it would spawn a company!  I had read so much about the benefits of baby carrying that I knew I wanted to try it, but the outrageous costs of some slings on today's market were too steep for me.  I wasn't willing to spend $60-80 on something that I didn't know would work, so I made my own.  She started using the sling after coming home from the hospital.  She loved it, I loved it, and people everywhere were stopping me to find out where I got it, because they loved it.

 

Ruby was born with a head FULL of hair.  I headed out on a quest for cute and functional baby bows to compliment her clothes.  I soon discovered there really weren't  any of these bows to be found in our big retail stores.  I began checking small boutiques and realized that $15.00 for one itty-bitty bow was not very practical either.  Since I have a love for all things creative, I began making bows for her, then for friends, now for the world!

With the birth of our second daughter, we encountered a small problem...Evelyn had no hair!  Soon followed a whole new line of hats, headbands and Teeny Tiny bows.  So I've experienced it all in terms of kid's hair!

 

RubyToots is a large part of our lives, but it's not the only thing.  I am a full time middle school English teacher, basketball coach, and most importantly...mother.  I wear many hats during the day and won't give any of them up!  

 

My goal in creating RubyToots has always been to provide great products at low prices.  Yes, you can find all of the products that we make elsewhere, but why would you?  You will be hard pressed to find our prices and such quality products anywhere else, not to mention outstanding customer service!
